Technology delivering real-world social value.

Using our capabilities, relationships and resources to create value beyond the secure and sustainable management of technology.

Through purposeful partnerships, Greenbox seeks to contribute to digital equity, reconciliation and stronger community outcomes.

Start with people. Build around their priorities.

Our contribution can involve connecting fit-for-purpose technology, investment and expertise with priorities identified by communities and the organisations that support them.

Digital equity

Access to a device does not automatically create digital inclusion. Connectivity, technical support, digital capability, safety and individual circumstances also matter.

We work with customers and community partners to explore practical ways of extending access to technology and the opportunities it can enable.

Reconciliation and participation

Our Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan guides our work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations, communities and partners.

Respectful relationships, cultural learning, Indigenous procurement and community-led opportunities help translate commitments into everyday practice.

Circular technology with social value

Secure reuse can extend both the environmental and social value of technology.

Where suitable devices and a viable support pathway exist, Greenbox can work with customers and community partners to redirect technology towards an agreed social purpose.

A commitment carried into the way we work.

Our Innovate RAP provides a practical framework for strengthening relationships, deepening respect and creating meaningful opportunities with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Greenbox’s published RAP names relationships with Cape York Partnership, Indigenous Allied Health Australia and the Institute for Urban Indigenous Health. Community priorities and partner expertise help shape the work.

Reconciliation in practice

Relationships

Build respectful, sustained relationships with First Nations peoples, communities, businesses and organisations.

Respect

Strengthen cultural understanding and recognise continuing histories, cultures, knowledge and contributions.

Opportunities

Explore Indigenous participation, supplier diversity, digital equity and appropriate pathways through our business.

Accountability

Maintain responsibility for implementation, monitor progress and identify where further work is needed.

Listen first. Agree the outcome. Learn as we go.

We begin by understanding the problem or opportunity. Technology is considered as part of the response, alongside the relationships, resources and support needed to make it useful.

1. Clarify the purpose

Understand the outcome being sought and who it is intended to support.

2. Listen to community

Work with people and organisations closest to the issue.

3. Assess the pathway

Consider suitability, security, logistics, connectivity, support and cost.

4. Start at a practical scale

Begin with a contained, achievable initiative where appropriate.

5. Understand what happens

Monitor delivery, participation and outcomes with partners.

6. Adapt and strengthen

Use evidence and learning to improve or scale the approach.

Not every device or proposal will be suitable. We seek responsible, sustainable pathways that can be delivered well.

A shared purpose. A practical contribution.

Meaningful social impact takes shared effort. Greenbox works with customers, First Nations organisations, schools, community partners and specialist providers to explore initiatives grounded in a clearly identified challenge or opportunity.

Strong partnerships need clear responsibilities, appropriate safeguards, realistic resources and openness about what is working and what needs to change.

Depending on the opportunity, contributions may include:

  • Secure recovery and refurbishment of suitable technology.
  • Customer-supported device redirection.
  • Co-investment in logistics, connectivity, training or support.
  • Community-led education and digital inclusion initiatives.
  • Indigenous procurement, employment and capability pathways.
  • Employee participation and learning.
  • Reporting aligned with agreed social impact, ESG or RAP priorities.

Responsible reuse. Wider opportunity.

Keep suitable technology in use and explore the opportunities it can support through purposeful partnerships.
