Greenbox has proudly become a corporate sponsor of the Australian Information Security Association (AISA), which champions the development of a robust information security sector.
Established in 1999, AISA has become the recognised authority on information security in Australia. It caters to all domains of the data security industry, with a particular focus on knowledge sharing.
Greenbox manages its customers’ IT assets end-to-end, from pre-deployment and installation, right through to critical data sanitisation and disposal to ensure sensitive information is effectively destroyed when a device is replaced.
“Data security should be a major consideration during every stage of the IT asset management process,” said Greenbox CEO Phil Dickman. “It’s estimated that 16% of data breaches occur during disposal and with Australia’s new data breach legislation, security standards need to extend right through to end-of-life.”
“Greenbox is delighted to be associated with AISA, to share our expertise and assist in promoting and educating organisations on best practices for data security.”
